SAFETY is PARAMOUNT.... Another good measure of safety is to NOT be trapped in the back during a potential situation with bad people attempting to bad things, like breaking in when you're sleeping.... So what would you do if you are TRAPPED in the back during a bad situation with some bad people near your camper, and say some are pounding on the back door, and maybe they could have weapons.... What would you do? Go out to greet them & Risk getting harmed? Go out from the back and try to run to the front door, so you could drive away? You may not make it.... Therefore, QUICK ACCESS to the cab by way of a "PORT DOOR" is crucial, so you can hurry into the driver seat to drive away.

Australia has been cutting wagons into dual cabs for decades. Predominantly landcruiser wagon's, 80s 100s 200s and now 300 series. Most companies use the rear wheel arche space for a tool box. Have a search of 200 series dualcabs. Also would recommend putting a smaller rear glass in the back from a old hilux or something that's readily available for replacement glass and also smaller for less chance of breaking the glass off road.

Beautiful build, inside and out however I do wish mainstream RV manufacturers would build something more affordable for more people, similar to this as a crew cab class C. Does anyone know why standard cabs are used over crew cabs? Clearly a demand here. Overlanding as an activity has exploded in popularity in recent years. RV industry needs to catch up to help fill this void for those of us that haven't won the lottery. Cheers to the lucky person who bought this rig!

I don’t know if you saw what Erik protroni did to his F550 build. It’s called the F550 extreme build on you tube some great ideas for a camper. Like how the solar panals can turn up to create a fenced roof and hammock attached with umbrella. The best think about his build is all the storage he has created. Now that I've been cruising in a Sprinter campervan build with my family, I can appreciate what goes into these type of vehicles featuered here. My immediate red flags, though, are the space the induction cook top takes on the counter vs. one that is portable. No real "garage" in the back for bycycles or dirt bikes, lack of head room on the main bed and no pass-through into the front of the truck. So many times I've had to either be stealth with getting out of bed, going to the can, cooking my breakfast and then driving off with people all around me outside. Not only for stealth but also convenience during bad weather, not having to leave the warmth of the back with having to go drive off.

That looks great, also that it is 16500 lbs max, that pretty much fits into the EU 7,5t license rule but I guess it is for US customers only? Is that really the outside shower? It looks more like the air compressor hose hook up. I probably would prefere the Diesel.
